This event is open to individuals of all abilities, as we celebrate adaptive and inclusive fashion.
There are no strict criteria—our goal is to provide a platform where aspiring models of all abilities, backgrounds and genders can shine.
The walk is open to both children and adults with disabilities, regardless of gender. (male and female participants are welcome)
For participants with special needs, a parent or guardian must accompany them on the runway. Both may wear their own outfits if they feel more comfortable.
We are working on engaging designers to collaborate with participants, though we don’t want to set firm expectations at this stage.
Participants are encouraged to arrange their own makeup/styling. Details on any additional support will be shared as we get closer to the event.
Participants with special needs can participate for free.
The accompanying parent/guardian will need to register under the regular participant category with a $50 fee.
All other participants (outside the special needs category) will be charged the standard participation fee of $50 per person
We will host meet-ups and training sessions before the event to help participants feel confident walking the runway.
Our event promoters include renowned fashion models and beauty queens who have participated in New York Fashion Week and other major fashion events. Participants will get to learn from some of the best in the industry.
Training is completely free for participants in the special needs category and will be scheduled at convenient times, typically on weekends, to accommodate everyone.
Family members and friends are encouraged to attend and cheer on the participants - there is no entry fee for spectators
Food will be available for purchase for the audience during the event
